We only charged $2.00 a ride so he worked hard that day giving 35 rides.  What a good sport he is!!

Annual Pumpkin Patch Party
October 15th, 2005
Each year a party is provided for several of the young children in the area.  We were invited to be the main attraction this year.  20 children were in attendance.  The neighbors were more amazed than the children.  They made a party out of it themselves and congregated on their porches with refreshments and enjoyed waiving and talking to the children while marveling at Moses and his cart.

  Bible Ministry

     Just as the donkey carries a cross we too have our own crosses to bear, some heavier than others.  Looking further one might also notice that the cross upon the donkey marks the exact center of his being.  I believe this is to be a sign for us.  When we place Christ in the center of our lives he is faithful to carry our burdens if only we would turn them over to him.  In a town called Bethlehem a donkey such as this carried the word in.  Later he carried the word to Calvary and now he has carried it to many of you.  If you have received a Bible at a donkey show, special event, occasion, or from someone who picked one up just for you, know that a special prayer has been said each day on your behalf.   You can find the number of your Bible listed below along with the daily prayer that goes out for you.

     You may also email me with any special prayer requests and I will add them to my personal prayer list.  I would be glad to post any requests if you so desire.

DAILY PRAYER:

The prayer goes something like this: Lord I pray that those who were faithful to your call and have received one of the Bibles listed below will hunger for the revelation knowledge of you which comes through your Word.  I ask Lord that they will desire to have a closer relationship with you.  Bless their home with peace, joy, hope, etc.  Protect their family from the hand of Satan.  Lord I pray too that you will heal them of any physical, emotional, and/or financial problems that they may be encountering.   Show them that your word will reveal to them the true purpose for their life.  Pour out upon them special blessings that they may share their joy with others so that all might see Jesus in them.

WHO IS JESUS?

To learn about the loving kindness of this most extraordinary man, God's son, you should begin reading in the book of John.  Once you understand who he is you may want to except his gift of eternal life.  As you read the following scriptures the Lord will reveal to you how you may receive salvation through grace.

John 14:6
Romans 10:9-11
2Corinthians 5:15
Revelations 3: 20

You may need some guidance as to what to read.  If you click on the Bible button in the left hand column of this page it will take you to the International Bible Society.  From there you will find a button for the most commonly sought after verses.  You will surely find something there that will bless you.

YEAR 2006

May 11th through May 14th:
I attended the 2006 Rio Brazos Miniature Donkey Expo in Houston Texas.  I passed out Bible #'s 1, 2, 11, 13, 14, 16, 19, and 20.  Each of these eight people now  have a special place in my heart.  They blessed me tremendously by allowing me to share God's Word with them while they too shared something special with me.  For some they just listened and kept me company, others offered me a warm place to sit and a blanket,  another comforted me on a plane that I thought would not make it home in time.  I want to thank them for their loving kindness and let them know that I will forever continue to pray the above prayer for them daily.  May God Bless all of you and keep you safe.  May he pour out his blessings on you so that you might continue to bless others.

July 6th through July 7th:  I attended the 2006 Great Celebrations Mule and Donkey Show in Shelbyville, TN.  There I provided Bibles for nine very special people.  My home congregation prayed diligently that just the right people would be faithful and take a Bible either for themselves or for a special someone in their life.  For those who took Bible #'s 5, 12, 21, 22, 23    know that I will be praying for you each day for the Lord to bless you and keep you and your family safe from harm and illness.  I will pray also that the words within this Bible will bring you hope for a brighter future and a purpose driven life.  The Lord has a special place just for you in his heart and so desires to pour out his blessings upon you.

August 5th:  Little Moses and I worked the 127 yard sale for the United Methodist Church.  We gave cart rides to the children in an effort to earn money to offer to missions.  We also offered God's Word to many adults who came to pet and admire Moses.  He loves the attention.  Thanks to all who stopped by.  The Lord blessed me that day by allowing me to share that which I love while doing what he calls all of us to do.  ( "Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15) For some of you who faithfully accepted my small gift (Bible #'s 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 17, 18, 24, 25) the words within will give you eternal hope (John 3:16) and a more fulfilled life.  This gift may also become a seed that you will plant in the lives of others.  Thanks to all of you and may God bless you for helping me to spread God's Word.  I will be praying each day that you will be blessed in some way and that God's Word will well up and overflow in you. Know that the God who created you loves you just as you are and that he wants you to spend time with him through his Word so that you might know the path to follow for which he created you to walk.  I will pray that the Lord will keep you safe, reveal his purpose for your life and fill you with abundant joy and the perseverance to make it through life's more difficult days.  May God Bless You All!!!

September 16th:  Our family attended the Tennessee State Fair.  This was such a blessing for my son.  He passed out 15 Bibles and I would like to thank all of those who accepted his gift that day.  Those who were faithful now have a Bible with a number 26 through 40.  Know that I will be thanking the Lord for that day and the blessings that fell upon our family because of your faithfulness.  I will pray each day that the Lord will bless your life as well as your family with his out pouring of love and bless you beyond measure.  I will pray also that he will reveal to you his purpose for your life and fill you with his spirit.  Remember that "God so loved the world that he sent his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16  Our Lord does not intend for you to wait until you are dead to experience His awesome power and receive showers of blessings.  His Word says, "Ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full." John 16:24

September 22nd.  Moses attended the Apple Festival Parade in Casey County.  This was our first experience at that parade.  We started out in the line up but after just a short time into the parade we were left behind.  This I don't feel was an accident.  We became our own parade and were able to share God's Word with many people.  That evening we passed out Bibles with a number 41 through 60.  If you were blessed to have received one of these Bible then you can have peace in knowing that each day a special prayer will go up for you.  I will be asking the Lord to Bless you and your family with health, prosperity, and a greater understanding for who God is and his purpose for your life.  I will pray that you will come to know Jesus Christ in a special way and develop a personal relationship with him.  Christ said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10  The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel.  Say to them:

 "The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face to shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

I will pray this prayer for you each day.  God bless you!!

December 1st.  Moses attended the Danville Christmas Parade.  Our family and farm was blessed to represent the Christ Child through a moving Nativity scene.  Our theme was to represent and advertise for the new movie The Nativity Story that opened to the public that night.  Thanks to all who attended the parade and graciously accepted our gift of God's Word (Bibles 61-90 and 94-100).  This is  a season for giving and our God gave us the greatest gift of all, his only Son.  I will pray that you will look into your heart and use the gifts God has blessed you with to edify Jesus Christ who came to this world in the likeness of man to pay a debt that he did not owe because we owed a debt that we could not pay.  For some I will pray that you will accept God's loving gift of salvation and for others, that you will share the gift of God's salvation with those who have yet to receive it. The Lord said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35  I will pray also that your heart might be open to give all year and that the Lord will bless you and your family for your faithfulness.  May God Bless You!!

December 18th-22nd.  My husband and his company were blessed to be able to go on a cruise.  We took with us some Bible to share God's Word.  On that trip I took Bibles 91-93.  These Bibles were given to airline personnel and other vacationers on the cruise.  I pray that they have come to understand who God is in a greater sense and have kept their Bible to enhance their faith or have sown more fruit by sharing it with someone who they feel God had lead them to give it to.  May you know that I am praying for you and that God bless not only you but your families.  I was also blessed to be given the opportunity to pass out God's Word to those who live in Mexico.  During my trip I gave out Bibles numbered 2, 4, 8, and 9.  I am sorry that I am unable to speak the language so that I can add a prayer here for them in their native tongue.  If you read this please send forth a prayer for them that they may go out and share God's Word with their friends and that these Bibles would be a blessing to them.

YEAR 2007

In March.  Kelly and Alias Raymundo took a trip to Mexico where they passed out 50 Spanish New Testament Bibles (51-100).  All those who received one felt blessed to have God's Word.  I pray that the Words in these Bibles will help fill their hearts with joy, peace, and love.  Also I pray that His Word will carry them through troubled times, remind them that there are people out there praying for them,  shower them with blessings, and encourage them to persevere through tough times always abiding in God's Word.  Please pray a special prayer for them as they are not nearly as blessed as we are here in the United States.

In June.  Several senior citizens came to the farm to enjoy the donkeys.  It was a wonderful event and touched the lives of those who participated.  I am not sure who was most blessed me or those who came to visit.  I pray that all those who receive one of the Bibles that were given in faith have been shared with others.  I am asking that the Lord bless all those who have the following Bibles with a peace that surpasses all understanding.  Also I ask that the words with in their Bible will move them to want to share the Word of God with all those around them.  For those who may not know the Lord I pray the they will come to know the truth of who he is and accept him as their Lord and Savior. ( 105, 107, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120)

In July.  Our farm attended the Great Celebration in Shelbyville TN.  Each year we look forward to attending this show and meeting up with distant friends.  Not only do we look forward to a little fellowship but we seek to share God's Word.  This year we passed out 10 Bibles.  I pray that all those who graciously accepted God's gift of his word be blessed abundantly and that they may desire to boldly share Jesus with others.  (102, 101, 111, 110, 109, 123, 124, 127, 130, 133)

In July.  Moses and I attended the BreyerFest.  We met so many knew people and made friends.  Once again our farm was blessed beyond measure.  It was a wonderful three days.  During that time we passed out 24 Bibles.  I pray that these Bibles find their way into the hands of those who need faith, healing, peace, financial blessings, acceptance, Love, etc.  God's word can and will provide all these to those who are faithful to read his Word and put it into practice.  May God's peace and understanding lift you up.  "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace." John 16:33( 125, 122, 121,126, 103,113, 108,129,128, 134, 106, 104, 112, 135, 136, 137, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150)

In September.  We attended the Tennessee State Fair.  What a wonderful day we had.  The interest in the materials we pass out was amazing and blessed us tremendously.  I pray that those who received materials have been and will continue to be as blessed beyond measure.  The key to a fulfilled life lies within the Word that you have received.  There are abundant blessing waiting for all that put God's Word into practice.  I pray that you will desire to read and act on God's Word so that it might manifest itself in your life. Matthew Chapter 5:1-12 (151-170

In September.  We attended the Apple Festival Parade.  We we had to travel along pretty quickly but had a good time sharing God's Word with the spectators along the way.  This year we passed out 30 Bibles (171-200Parades are my favorite events because they represent what God expects from us.  Moses is our parade donkey and although he does not always win in halter classes he wins the hearts of all in the parades where he is doing God's work in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ so that no one should live in bondage but can and will be set free to live a fulfilled, joyous life in Christ.  Like Moses we may not always win or come out on top but when we are in the will of God it does not matter for our joy and sense of self worth comes from above and is more satisfying than any worldly accomplishment.  I pray that you will find true fulfillment and a greater sense of self worth as you read God's Word and put it into action.  "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." John 15:11

In September 2007.  We attended the Festival of the Horse.  Living in KY, mules and donkeys don't seem to rank high.  As a resident of this state it can sometimes be humbling when claiming to raise donkeys.  I know first hand how it feels to be humbled as Christ calls us to be.  On Saturday I experienced a little taste of how Christ must have felt riding in on a donkey.  Moses once again drove me through the parade.  I was sure that among all the beautiful horse we would be the comic relief.  I should have known differently.  The donkey was a chosen animal by God throughout the Bible and represents what we are as unbroken sinners and what we are to become as servants of Christ.  It is no wonder that no matter who is around the crowd is drawn by these animals.  I pray that you will seek the will of God and that his Word will make known to you the path for which he has intended you.  I pray also that you will be obedient to take up the cross of Christ and follow him no matter what you believe others will think.  "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock , and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7(300-327)

December 2007.  We attended both the Danville and Stanford Christmas Parade.  Christmas is a busy time and for some the most stressful time of the year.  Meeting the needs and expectations of family, friends, church, etc. can sometimes distract you from remembering the one person who made the greatest sacrifice of them all, Jesus Christ.  As usual it was a rush to arrive on time with costumes and such all ready and the equipment, donkey, and materials all in tact.  Sometimes when we sacrifice our time, money, energy when we least feel that we have to ability to do so is when the Lord will bless you the most.   I pray that this year that you will choose to serve the Lord and that you will give of yourself no matter what the circumstances.  I pray that through your selfless giving you will be blessed beyond measure.  We passed out 120 Bibles (201-299 and 327-349.)  We also passed out two Spanish Bibles (30, 41"But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." Hebrews 13:16
